About the event
FinTech Taipei 2019, as the largest FinTech event in Taiwan, will welcome 10,000+ FinTech professionals and 30+ International Networks from around the world in its second year of the event.
Taiwan, with annual GDP of £465bn, ranks 13th in global competitiveness index. As the world’s 21st largest economy, Taiwan launched its financial regulatory sandbox in May 2018 - the fifth in the world after the UK, Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong - and joined the network of 35 organisations from 26 jurisdictions as an official member of Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN).
Taiwan imported £193.2m worth of financial services from the UK in 2018. According to Taiwan Financial Services Roundtable (TFSR), £340m was invested for FinTech development in 2018 to achieve 18% growth rate of Fintech transaction year-on-year till 2023.

How to participate
Please get in touch with the British Office as soon as possible to register your interest. An OMIS charge (Overseas Market Introduction Service) of £550 (excluding VAT) will apply if confirmed to participate; extra requirements are up for discussion.
