Why India?

 

  • In 2017, the Indian passenger vehicle market has achieved a new feat by moving up to the fourth position in the world in terms of volume, beating Germany. It is expected to become the third-largest by 2020, thus to become a cynosure in the eyes of global automotive industry

  • India’s auto industry has a potential to generate up to $300 billion in annual revenue by 2026, creating 65 million additional jobs and contributing over 12 per cent to India’s Gross Domestic Product

  • The sector is expected to remain in the robust growth horizon over the next decade with volume growth in the region of 6-8 per cent a year

  • The country also has a strong thriving automotive component industry with revenues of over $43.5 billion including exports in the excess of $11 billion in FY17, recording a CAGR of over 7 per cent

 

Cost, Eligibility and Grants:

 

A commitment fee of just £150 + VAT is applicable for each organisation, with all delegates responsible for booking their own flights and accommodation.

Financial support of £690 is available for those companies in the Midlands Engine area (i.e. East and West Midlands) who meet the required eligibility criteria as detailed on the application form provided upon registration.
