The Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite you to join a webinar on the future of smart cities in Turkey post Covid-19; market insights, business continuity and key trends in the sector with technology as an enabler. You will hear from UK companies established in the market who will share their in-market experience, highlight opportunities and reflect on some of the challenges they are facing and how they are responding during the pandemic.

Why attend?

Smart Cities sector is rapidly growing in Turkey. Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation published nationwide ‘Smart Cities Strategy and Action Plan’ for 2020-2023 earlier this year. This helped increase the awareness of smart city applications among municipalities and the private sector, which resulted in the demand for smart city technologies to rise in the short to medium term. This is a great opportunity for UK technology companies offering products and solutions in this sphere who are looking to internationalise.

This webinar will help participants to learn Smart City initiatives in Turkey including progress to date and strategies for future. There will also be highlights on key trends and opportunities in the sector with technology as an enabler and insights on exporting to Turkey and business continuity in the challenging post pandemic world.
