As His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific and His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia, we meet regularly with UK businesses achieving new successes in this part of the world. The growth of the region’s economy is undeniable, with rapid economic growth in the Indo-Pacific region shifting the world’s centre of economic gravity eastwards.
We want to support UK education businesses to export to the Indo-Pacific, making the most of the dynamic and growing economies and our network of Free Trade Agreements, where applicable. Your organisation is a vital part of this story, and we hope to work with you to help unlock new opportunities for UK businesses across the Indo Pacific region.
We are planning the Indo-Pacific Trade Roadshow: 17 June – 27 June 2024.
The Roadshow aims to show the opportunity the Indo-Pacific holds as an export market for UK business and highlight the support on offer from government and the private sector at the start of their export journeys. We are planning events for businesses to be held in following cities: London, Haydock (Northern Powerhouse), Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham, Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff, but these are subject to change
