Discovering your growth potential in the French Civil Nuclear sector
Businesses are invited to join the first in a series of events, designed to provide a detailed overview of the Civil Nuclear industry in France and the vast opportunities it presents for UK SMEs within a variety of sectors.
Over the coming months, we will be hosting a series of events, in partnership with relevant organisations, to help companies explore the opportunities that exist in France.

In 2023, the UK-France Joint Leaders' Declaration was established, reaffirming a shared commitment to promote energy policies, international cooperation on energy security, as well as technology and innovations that enhance energy transition and decarbonisation. This includes Civil Nuclear.
Agreeing to collaborate in the fields of energy resilience, civil nuclear energy and low carbon technologies, the Statements of Cooperation on Civil Nuclear Energy were formed, pledging enhanced cooperation between the UK and France in a range of areas, including:
- decommissioning and dismantling
- energy diversification
- fusion
- new build
- research and development
- safety
- skills and diversity
- supply chain
- waste management
