The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is delighted to welcome a delegation from South Korea to the UK, to introduce the UK’s expertise in consumer & retail, food & drink and other associated industries.

The Korea Importers’ Association (KOIMA) is leading a business delegation of nine buyers, who are searching for new products and services to import to South Korea.

The event offers the unique opportunity to meet with industry leaders, build your network and discuss potential partnerships.

South Korea is one of the largest economies in the world and has strong trade links with the UK. The South Korean public has a taste for British culture and a respect for UK goods. Many well-known UK brands are already selling in South Korea, with opportunities for UK businesses in a range of sectors.

About the event
At this event, businesses from the North of England will receive a detailed overview of the South Korean market and the support available from the DBT team in Seoul. Confirmed delegates will also have the opportunity to engage directly with potential buyers via one-to-one appointments.
