The 31st UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP31) will be held in Antalya, Türkiye, on 9-20 November 2026.
The UK Government is inviting organisations with strong climate credentials to partner on the UK Pavilion, demonstrating leadership, supporting the net zero transition, and contributing to international collaboration that drives real-world climate solutions and investment.
THE UK GOVERNMENT AT COP SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Sponsorship of the UK Government at COP provides a unique opportunity, offering companies exciting benefits and the opportunity to maximise their visibility and vision at the heart of the UK Government’s presence in Antalya.
Sponsorship of the UK Pavilion at COP31 will provide businesses with the opportunity to:
- Create positive brand positioning by demonstrating a clear commitment to tackling climate change, with strong brand visibility and recognition throughout the summit.
- Showcase industry leadership by setting the pace for business partners and peers on the way to Net Zero at the most high-profile global climate event of the year.
- Engage a high-profile audience by interacting and networking with global business leaders and senior government representatives.
SPONSORSHIP CLIMATE CRITERIA
The UK Government is seeking sponsors who:

Are making real contributions to the fight against climate change and are aligned with the aims of COP31.

Have strong climate credentials – to note, net zero commitments are a mandatory requirement.

Agree to publish their climate transition plan within a set timeframe.

Can lend their resources, commitment, and expertise to making the UK’s objectives at COP31 a success and help to deliver international action on climate change.
The UK Government undertakes a fair and open approach to sponsor selection which will be based on:

the above detailed climate criteria;

strategic fit with the UK’s objectives at COP31;

the level of commitment to amplify the UK Government’s messaging.
CHECKLIST
Prospective sponsors will undergo due diligence checks and climate checks from the Department for Business and Trade and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, to comply with robust government standards. The climate criteria mentioned above provide a summary of these checks but are not exhaustive.
