Key Employment Issues
We will be joined by Sarah Peacock, Partner, and Natalie Painter, Senior Solicitor at Blake Morgan, a leading law firm based in the South of England. Blake Morgan advise on all areas of employment law, contentious and non-contentious as well as business restructuring, changes to terms and conditions of employment and redundancy. Sarah and Natalie will share their expertise and address issues within the construction workplace including dealing with conduct and capability issues (a quiet chat versus a formal disciplinary); flexible working (benefits versus disadvantages); and other topical issues.

Apprenticeship Levy Update
Tony Moss and Matt Butcher from Bournemouth and Poole College will give a summary about the changes to employing apprentices and how it will affect you, including:
  • What is the levy?
  • What additional funding is available for employers?
  • Who will have to pay a levy and how much will it cost the payer?
There will be ample opporortunities to network with fellow members and guests.
