Meet the Experts: Vietnam Education Export Clinic (covering HE, TVET, ELT, Schools and Colleges)

Date and time: Friday 17th January 2025, 10:00 - 16:00
Location: 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham

Education is a priority in the UK-Vietnam strategic partnership, presenting major strategic and trade opportunities, and Vietnam one of 5 countries in ASEAN and Asia prioritised for building bilateral education partnerships under the UK’s International Education Strategy.

Nearly 60 percent of Vietnam's population is under 35 years old, creating a substantial demand for educational services. A rising middle class favours private education for its perceived quality, so Vietnam has a robust market for private institutions and vocational schools. Vietnamese families are increasingly seeking high-quality education, spurring demand for international and bilingual schools that blend global curricula with Vietnamese cultural studies, offering a balanced educational experience.

Young Vietnamese are eager to gain skills that meet the evolving demands of the labour market, particularly in high-growth industries. As Vietnam’s economy diversifies, demand for skills-based education is expected to increase, fuelling growth in vocational training, STEM fields, and digital literacy - areas where foreign investment can make a lasting impact.
