The government has recently prioritised collaboration with international higher education institutes and clarified the guidance /criteria for those looking to set up a branch campus there.

The opportunities in the Vietnamese higher education system for British companies and universities can be broken down as follows:

  • Joint programmes with local universities in Vietnam;
  • Setting up independent campuses in Vietnam;
  • Recruitment of Vietnamese students to study at UK universities; and
