Communication Matters Events and Coronavirus (Covid-19) - Updated: 18th March 2020 - If there are any changes this information will be reviewed
We appreciate that many of you will be concerned about Coronavirus. We are continuing to closely monitor the situation and the impact of Coronavirus on Communication Matters (CM). Our primary concern is the health and safety of individuals. This is particularly pertinent in the care and health sector communities that CM brings together.
Based on current UK Government advice, we will be postponing our AAC Information Day and Study Day events but we intend and are working towards running Conference in September 2020 as planned. However, we are aware of the uncertainty over how this may develop over the coming months. Please be assured we are taking the situation seriously and if there is any change in our position, we will immediately contact all delegates.
We are accepting conference abstracts in the normal way and hope to go live with conference registration the week commencing 13th April 2020.
Our Glasgow AAC Information Day will be postponed until 24th November 2020. The three CM Study Days due to be held in April and May will be cancelled and we hope to rearrange them in the future. All delegates who had booked have been informed and issued with a full refund.
