Trade Mission to Inhorgenta

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT), in partnership with The British Jewellery & Giftware International (BJGI) is delighted to invite businesses from across Birmingham and Solihull to submit an expression of interest to participate in a trade mission to Inhorgenta.

This mission is a unique opportunity for businesses to showcase their products, connect with international buyers, and explore new market opportunities.

Approved companies may be eligible for a £1050 subsidy.

 

Package Costs

There is a £1450 or £275 (plus VAT) fee, payable to the British Allied Trades Federation (BATF). Entrance tickets for one delegate per company are included in the fee.

Participants must cover their own travel costs including flights, accommodation and subsistence etc.

Showcase Delegates: £1450 plus VAT


There are six places available for Birmingham & Solihull-based jewellery businesses to secure this package which includes the opportunity to:

  • Showcase their collections to a global audience.
  • Connect with international buyers and develop new relationships.
  • Gain insights into market trends and buyer preferences.
  • Explore and understand the market in detail.

Benefits of Participation

Participants will have access to:

  • Dedicated exhibition space to showcase their jewellery collections.
  • Guided tours to understand the event and the calibre of exhibiting brands.
  • Educational seminars on buying trends and activities.
  • On-site support from BJGI, DBT, and Messe München.
  • Networking opportunities in the Birmingham Solihull sponsored lounge area.
  • Post-event follow-up support to capitalise on connections made during the programme.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this trade mission, businesses must:

  • Be based in Birmingham or Solihull.
  • Be export-ready or currently exporting.
  • Have a strong interest in expanding into the German market and other European markets.

        

Explorer Delegate: £275 plus VAT


This package includes the opportunity to:

  • Connect with international buyers and develop new relationships.
  • Gain insights into market trends and buyer preferences.
  • Explore and understand the market in detail.

Benefits of Participation

Participants will have access to:

  • Guided tours to understand the event and the calibre of exhibiting brands.
  • Educational seminars on buying trends and activities.

  • New to Exporting, Exporting but have never visited an International Trade Fair or Exporting and considering to exhibit your business Internationally.

This mission is only open to Birmingham and Solihull based businesses. Submission of an EOI does not constitute acceptance. All EOIs are reviewed and shortlisted. DBT retains the right to review and select appropriate participants.
