The Maritime UK Regional Showcase

Join Maritime UK and its network of regional cluster organisations to spotlight coastal communities and businesses contributing significantly to local economies and the national exchequer. This event will showcase some of the leading maritime regions, their recent developments, plans, and investment opportunities for growth.

This event will feature the work of six regions with a series of presentations, debate and opportunities for questions that demonstrate the diversity and broad range of the UK’s maritime offer:

•    Solent: Maritime UK Solent
•    North West: Mersey Maritime
•    Northern Ireland: Belfast Maritime Consortium
•    West Country: Maritime UK South West
•    Scotland: Scottish Maritime Cluster
•    South East: Partners within the Dover area

The UK has a number of strong maritime regions, who work together to make the UK a compelling choice as a maritime centre. From Scotland to the south coast, we will explore how clustering is being used to create a unique and attractive business environment for businesses large and small, academia and government. Delegates will also learn about the unique specialism of each region and hear of specific investment opportunities for those visiting the UK for LISW.

The Maritime Minister, Baroness Vere, has been invited to attend to make a keynote speech.
