Introduction
The United Nations procured goods and services for almost $30 billion in 2022.  The United Kingdom is the 3th largest country supplier to the UN and procurement from UK Suppliers reached a record high of $1.3 billion.  The top UN procurement categories include: Health, Pharmaceuticals, Medical, Lab equipment, Management & Admin Services, Engineering & Research Services, Transport & Logistics, IT & Communications Equipment.  The UK remained the largest supplier to the Public Order and Security Service segment in 2022.

The Department for Business & Trade’s (DBT) UN team will present on How To Do Business with the UN including:

  • The registration process with the UN Global Marketplace
  • The most commonly procured good and services
  • The tender process and specifications
  • Overview of the UN Agencies in Copenhagen, Geneve & New York
  • Events & Activities

This roadshow will also provide companies with the opportunity to book 1-2-1 meetings with the DBT UN experts based in Copenhagen, Geneva & New York.  We can advise on the suitability of your goods/services and next steps.
