Department for Business and Trade connects 25 UK companies with overseas buyers at PAS

The UK government’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Aerospace and Space Teams are giving UK aerospace, defence and space companies the opportunity to meet potential new clients including Boeing, Airbus, and Embraer at the largest aerospace event in the world.

Small-medium sized UK businesses will pitch their technologies directly to customers and potentially win international contracts

This is one of the key ways DBT continually supports the UK aerospace industry – one of the largest in continental Europe. Specialising in aerostructures manufacturing, including composite structures, propulsion, critical aircraft systems, aircraft interiors, and through life services, the UK is a leading global aerospace market.

DBT officially launches the National Aerospace Proposition (NAP): Set up your business in the UK

The DBT Aerospace Team worked collaboratively with industry stakeholders to create an investor-focussed resource explaining why the UK is the right place for overseas businesses to invest. The NAP showcases the UK aerospace ecosystem capabilities, high growth clusters and opportunities, as the industry transitions to the next generation of smart and sustainable aviation.

Our thriving space economy provides end-to-end support for space enterprises

The UK has a renowned science and technology sector, strong talent pipeline, leading satellite manufacturing and operations capabilities. DBT’s Space Sector Team works hard, unlocking investment to sustain growth whilst protecting national interests and striving for world-class innovation.
