What to expect from this event

In line with the Annual Theme, the eTwinning Annual Conference 2023 will help participants imagine an educational setting which, with the support of eTwinning, can be innovative and creative.

Participants will be encouraged to innovate in the many forms available, such as:

  • Social innovation with a school;
  • Mental and emotional well-being within schools;
  • Pedagogical innovation;
  • Engaging with innovation

The aim of the Conference is to raise awareness, engage and showcase participants on how eTwinning can help teachers deploy the Theme of the year - Innovation and Education, Being Creative with eTwinning - in their schools.

The welcome speech will be held by the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Iliana Ivanova.

The conference’s keynote speeches will be delivered by the European Commission Head of Unit - Digital Education Georgi Dimitrov, and OECD Senior Analyst Stephan Vincent-Lancrin. The keynote speeches will be followed by a question and answer session. 

The live stream of the conference will also celebrate innovation with Prize winners.
