Airport transfer at Chiang Mai International Airport

There are three options for airport transfer to the hotel:

  1. Shuttle transportation Northern Smile Travel

    2. The Northern Smile Travel will provide airport transfer on 19 July to the hotel at 150 THB/person/trip. Advanced booking is advised and available until midnight 17 July (please visit the Northern Smile reservation webpage or mail to icas10-transport@northernsmiletravel.com). It is also possible to buy a ticket on arrival at the ICAS 10 Information Desk at both the International and Domestic Arrival Hall on 19 July between 7 am – 11 pm. Please look for the ICAS 10 banner at the airport.

  2. Airport transfer via hotel

    3. If you have booked your airport transfer with your hotel, please contact your hotel for the transportation details.

  3. Airport taxi

    4. Airport taxi service is available from the airport to the hotel. The price ranges from 160 THB – 250 THB depending on the distance.Tickets can be bought at the Airport Taxi counters in the arrival hall (both international and domestic).

Pre-registration 19 July 2017, 1.30 pm – 5.00 pm

Transfer from the hotel to the Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre located in the middle of Chiang Mai City (behind the Three Kings Monument (address: Rajavihtee Road intersecting with Ja Baan Road)) for SIGN-IN (pick up conference bag, programme book and name badge).

  1. The Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre, where pre-registration will take place from 1.30 - 5.00 pm, is easily accessible on foot for those who are staying in a hotel in the Old City.
  2. There will be a round-trip van service provided by Northern Smile Travel for those who pre-booked a four-day shuttle bus service at specific times. Northern Smile Travel will provide the details to those who have booked with them. If you do not have a pre-booking with Northern Smile Travel you can buy a ticket at their service counter in the official conference hotels.
  3. When using local transportation (taxi or tuk tuk), please ask your hotel to assist with the arrangement.

Transfer from Hotel to Chiang Mai Exhibition and Convention Center (CMECC) from 20 – 23 July

  1. Northern Smile Travel provides transfer service from selected pick-up points to the Convention Center (CMECC) to those who have pre-booked the shuttle transportation.
  2. For those who have not pre-booked the shuttle transportation service, Northern Smile Travel will have a service desk at the official conference hotels where the transfer service can be booked between 7 am – 8 pm. Two options are available: 4 day pass (2500 THB) and 1 day passes (700 THB per day pass).
  3. Local transportation is available through individual arrangement or hotel. If this option is chosen, advance booking is necessary and waiting time can be up to 30-60 minutes.

Transfer from Chiang Mai Exhibition and Convention Center (CMECC) back to your hotel

  1. Transportation from CMECC to the hotel will be available for those who have pre-booked with Northern Smile Travel.
  2. Northern Smile Travel can provide transfer service for those who do not have a pre-booking. Single tickets can be purchased on site at 500 THB p.p.
  3. Local transportation can be available, but needs to be pre-arranged. Please note that the waiting time can be up to 30-60 minutes.
