We invite trainees to submit a presentation for the Brocklehurst Prize

The prize for the best trainee presentation will be presented at the end of the NW Region meeting on 25th October. The prize is a cheque for £250. Winning would also be a very useful addition to your CV!

The presentations for the Brocklehurst prize need to be 15 minutes long. You should be prepared to answer 5 minutes of questions.

A maximum of 5 presentations will be selected for presentation at the meeting. The panel will look at the following in making a decision regarding the presentation that will be rewarded the prize.

Content

Clinical usefulness

Presentation

Ability to handle questions

It is acceptable to submit presentations based upon:

 

· Original research

· Audit

· Service development

· Teaching

· MSc dissertation literature reviews

If you would like to enter please send an abstract (250 words) of your presentation. The entries will be selected by a panel of the NW BGS members and the TPD. Their decision on which may be presented will be final!

The closing date for submission of presentations is 16th September 2017 at 5pm.
