Conference OverviewThis 2017 conference will be the first of its kind in Dubai to address menopause. International and local speakers and experts from diverse medical specialties will come together to discuss the latest topics in gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, the heart, breast, bones, oncology and family medicine relating to this transition phase that many women find difficult.
This landmark event will highlight integration of menopause care, the applications of new technologies together with an emphasis on lifestyle medicine. The conference aims to develop the concept of the “Menopause Specialist” a care provider who will be well-equipped to identify and treat the many challenging aspects of menopause.
The introduction of new technologies in gynecologic management such as vaginal laser thermo-therapy and pelvic floor magnetic stimulation will be reviewed and demonstrated in after-conference skill training workshops.
New concepts of Life Style Medicine are addressed. In this respect, laser-assisted anti-aging aesthetics and cosmetic gynecology represent a recent trend. Emphasis is placed on collaborative care by gynecologists, endocrinologists, dermatologists, family medicine practitioners and nutritionists to optimize outcomes and safety.

The First Menopause Dubai conference is dedicated to not only examining the effects of Menopause on the patient in depth but also looking at the integrated care among different health professions to manage the complexity of the transition. The conference will explore new technologies in the management of menopause. A one day workshop will offer skill training on new technologies of laser, radio frequency and magnetic stimulation for anti-aging aesthetics and cosmetics.
The conference will feature presentations from Professor Gambacciani, from the Pisa University and Chairman of the Menopause Society, as well as other international and local speakers in diverse specialties.

A partnership with University of Sharjah resulted in the to establish Sharjah University Laser Training and Research Center (SULTARC) since March 2010.
