MS Nurse Grant Programme
RIMS offers travel grants to up to 30 nurses to enable attending its Annual Conference*.
Application deadline is February 15th. Acceptance message can be expected by March 2nd 2018.
The Nurse Grant Programme will:
• waive the registration fee for the Annual Conference
• cover travel (flight or train – in economy class - up to a maximum cost of €400)
• cover transfer with public transport in Amsterdam (3 day public transportation pass covering bus, train and tram)
• cover 3 hotel nights in Amsterdam from May 30th until June 2nd 2018 at Holiday Inn De Boelelaan
The RIMS secretariat will organise the logistics:
• providing you with a free registration code for the Conference
• booking and paying the flights
• booking and paying the hotel nights
• handing out the public transportation vouchers upon arrival on site
What is not covered
• all food & beverage expenses (including the networking dinner)
• the transfer to your airport of departure and back to your home
• your first transport from Schiphol to the hotel (with public transport)
RIMS Annual Conference Registration
Once accepted, nurses will receive a promotional code, allowing them to register for the RIMS Annual Conference without paying the registration fee for the conference.
Conditions:
Applicants should
• be an active nurse with an interest in MS Rehabilitation
• have recognised MS nurse qualification or completed at least 2/5th of the MS Nurse Professional Programme from EMSP. For more

• write a few lines why they wish to attend the conference and show an interest in disseminating their learnings within their daily professional environment
• Applicants are accepted from all countries and will be asked to upload as well: their passport and bank account details
• Maximum 5 bursaries will be granted per country and a maximum of 3 nurses per institution.
Grant recipients
• Must attend the RIMS conference
• Must attend Nurse Training Programme
(Thursday, 31 May from 9:30 - 15:00 (lunch included). The morning session (09:30-12:30) is elaborated independently by RIMS, the afternoon session (13:30-15:00) will be a satellite symposium by Biogen)
National health authority VISA
Applying nurses need to indicate during the registration process whether they (or RIMS as issuer of the travel grant) need to submit a request for a VISA with their national/regional health authorities.
