RIMS Digital Conference: December 4-5, 2020

Dear colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the next Annual RIMS Conference will take place from Friday, December 4 to Saturday, December 5, 2020 in a digital format. The Conference is organised in partnership with KU Leuven and the National MS Center Melsbroek.

The  RIMS Conference is the main European event for healthcare professionals, researchers and patient representatives to share their knowledge and experiences and to collaborate on topics related to rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis.

Just as with the live conference, the focus of the digital format will be on delivering high quality scientific content, interaction and networking as well as maintaining the unique RIMS atmosphere.

In 2020, the conference main theme will be 'Collaborate and Engage in Personalised Rehabilitation' and focuses on the following 4 areas: Emerging Rehabilitation Research Methodologies, Optimizing Engagement, Translating Knowledge into Practice and Creating Synergies to Optimize Practice & Research.

As we will now organize a Digital Conference, the Conference programme has been updated to accommodate the digital character of the Conference. Please note we will postpone the Teaching Courses and the PhD session  to 2021.

The lectures, meetings, debates and Q&A sessions will be streamed in high definition, directly to your computer. Pre-registration for the event is required and can be done using the following link.

We look forward to welcome rehabilitation physicians and neurologists, nurses and therapists (e.g. exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, social workers, speech and language therapists) and all professionals involved or interested in MS rehabilitation research and practice.

We hope to see you virtually in December 2020!

Save the date, keep an eye on the website to stay tuned and join us at the RIMS Conference!

Yours sincerely,

Daphne Kos, RIMS President
