Wednesday 9th September 12:00 - 13:00 (BST)

As part of London Tech Week, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport's UK-Kenya Tech Hub and the Department for International Trade's Tech for Growth programme are hosting a digital panel to highlight the opportunities for early-stage investors in East Africa.

This coincides with the launch of a practical guide for "early stage investors in Kenya" co-authored with ViKtoria Ventures, a local angel network.

This session is aimed at existing or aspiring early stage investors, interested in East Africa, as well as entrepreneurs looking to expand or grow into the region.

This webinar will:

  • Explore the opportunities for early-stage investors across East Africa
  • Identify how international investors can navigate regulatory, legal and financial barriers
  • Highlight how COVID-19 is reshaping the investment landscape
