Katharine Hadzic Katharine and her team assist British companies looking to export their product to over 30 European countries - connecting them with a wide range of tailor made services and networks. Prior to this, Katharine has 5 years of experience in the private sector, working for companies such as Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield as a Commercial Partnerships Manager and a research analyst at think-tanks in Prague and The Hague. Katharine studied International Relations and Diplomacy in both Vancouver, Canada and The Hague, Netherlands. |

Derrick Barker Consultant & Founder John Martin Design Associates Derek is founder of JMDA Product Design Consultancy established in 1991, providing turnkey design and development to a global client portfolio. Winner’s of Queens Award for International Trade 2019 plus a number of Red Dot Design, Industry and Worcester Chamber of Commerce International Business of the Year 2010 and 2023. Derek has spent 40 years supporting leading global brands and manufactures across many product sectors, to innovate and create the vision, source, manufacture, assess risk and protect IP, then access and develop the market. Major export markets included China, Taiwan, Korea, USA, Brazil, Israel and mainland Europe. They have established R&D centres in China and Italy. Derek’s top tip for exporting is understand the business culture of the market you wish to enter. Then be prepared to sustain the effort, as it will take time, but be highly rewarding once established.
