UK Energy Minister visit to Lithuania
On 26 March 2025, the UK Energy Minister Michael Shanks visited Lithuania to meet his Lithuanian counterpart Zygimantas Vaiciunas, members of the Committee on National Security and Defence of the Seimas, and key stakeholders at the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence.
As part of the visit, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) organised a business reception for the Lithuanian Energy Business Community to:
- Discuss the UK's experience in developing its energy sector
- Share the aspirations of the Lithuanian energy commmunity in developing green and sustainable energy systems
- Explore further business links
The reception was by invitation only.
