British Geriatrics Society Autumn Meeting 2017

Fringe

The BGS fringe is an experiment. We are a group of geriatricians wondering... could the humanities help us resist the inhumanities of life in hospital?

Does art have anything to offer geriatric medicine? Could a play change our view of the world we live and work in? Could we learn more from a poem than a lecture?

We will be occupying space for your mind to explore alongside the main conference sessions the Autumn 2017 #bgsconf in London. Come and say hello.

THE CALL

BGS Fringe – 23rd November 2017: Deadline for submissions 31st August 2017

We are a group of geriatricians wondering... could the humanities help us resist the inhumanities of life in hospital?

Do you read, write, draw, act, sing, code, build? Do you have a superhero alter-ego…?

This is a metaphorically* open space for you to share your passion with like-minded colleagues.

This is a call for submissions of all kinds to display, talk, project, play during the day.

Drop us an email with a short outline (no more than a page) of what you would like to do, how long would you need, what kind of space or props would you need? Acceptance will be based largely on these practicalities and producing a balanced programme.
