Thomas Chalk, Public Engagement Account Manager, NHS England Thomas’s background is in supporting people with a learning disability, and his work for NHS England currently combines this with wider public engagement. This includes the NHS England Older People’s Sounding Board: following an initial pilot with Age UK in 2016-2017, the Sounding Board is a diverse group of older people who meet to offer their insights – and those of the communities they connect to – on a wide range of NHS England’s work. Thomas also chairs Leeds-based charity Pyramid of Arts, which involves people with a learning disability in a wide range of artistic work.
