Join this webinar and learn areas of collaboration in medical technology between Indonesia and the UK to accommodate the growing demand for such services.
This webinar will give an overview of UKEF, the UK government department Export Credit Agency that provides competitive finance when buying goods or services from the UK.
The webinar will also provide an overview of the UK Medtech sector, where specialist groups develop novel technologies from the innovation stage, through the process of design and manufacture, to the bedside in the UK and internationally.
The Speakers
Richard Michael - Country Head for UK Export Finance (UKEF)
He has lived and worked in Asia/Pacific for almost 30 years. He was the Head of Private Client Advisory at Indonesia Infrastructure Finance before joining UKEF in December 2017. Richard is a graduate in history and modern languages from Magdalen College, Oxford and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Leicester University.
Dr Neil Ebenezer - Medical Technologist Specialist from Department for International Trade
His role includes developing and implementing the global strategy for medical technologies in DIT. Neil has a broad scientific knowledge with a degree in Biotechnology from Dublin City University. He initially worked on plant biotechnology before obtaining a PhD from the Institute of Ophthalmology (UCL), working there for over 13 years on the genetics of ocular diseases.
