The Department for International Trade (DIT), in partnership with the British Irish Chamber of Commerce, is delighted to invite businesses from across the Northern Powerhouse to participate in a free webinar to find out more about the upcoming mission to Ireland.

Geographical proximity to the UK, with a common language, close cultural and economic links, as well as numerous excellent transport connections by sea and air, make Ireland an ideal target market for first time exporters.

Why Join?

  • Find out more about the upcoming trade mission programme to Dublin, Ireland - including a detailed overview of the trade mission agenda
  • Hear about the eligibility criteria and application process
  • Discover the opportunities and potential for new exporters in the Irish market
  • Learn about the potential funding options available

Ireland is a good place for UK businesses to start exporting for the first time, as business practices, laws, systems of finance and broader culture are similar to the UK. The trade mission programme is designed for ambitious Northern Powerhouse businesses, who are new to exporting, and is planned to take place in February 2022*.

This is a great opportunity for new exporters to explore their potential in the Irish market and hear first-hand why Ireland is an ideal starter market.

*Subject to travel restrictions

Please note this event is only open to registered businesses based in the Northern Power House interested in trading internationally or wanting to learn more about the service Department for International Trade North East. You may be contacted prior to the event to assess eligibility.
