High-level conference: Multimodal transport - towards the future
 

ACCOMMODATION
 
Participants are responsible for their own accommodation booking.
 
The Conference organisers have made a block booking at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (also the Conference venue) for 50 single rooms on 26 February 2019 at 159,24€/night (breakfast and taxes included). AT THE VENUE

Registration desk & access to the building
The welcome & registration desk will be located at hotel entrance (3 rue Gineste) and will be operational from 12:30 until 19:00 pm the day of the event.

Please note that all participants will have to pass through registration before entering the rooms. Please take this into account and arrive in advance onsite (at least 30 min).
 
Cloakroom
On the ground floor, next to the plenary room  there is a manned cloakroom. Clothe racks will also be available inside the plenary room.

Wi-Fi
There is a Wi-Fi Internet connection for all participants at the venue. 
INTERPRETATION

No interpretation is provided.

GETTING TO THE VENUE

Participants must make their own way from the airport/train station to the event venue. Organisers will not reimburse any transportation costs therefore, we strongly advise you to use public transportation.

         To reach the venue from the Rogier metro/train station:

        


         From Brussels airport:
Train:
The airport train station is located below the arrivals hall (basement level-1). Up to 4 trains per hour connect the airport to Brussels North train station. A one way train ticket costs € 8.90 and the trip takes 20-25 min. From there, walk 9 min to the event venue or take the tram 3 or 4 for 1 stop (3min) to "Rogier" station.

Taxi
Taxis with a taximeter are permanently available in front of the arrivals hall. The fare from the airport to the city centre is normally around €45 and takes approximately 20-30 min, depending on traffic.

        From Brussels South International Train Station:
Public transportation
If you are using the public transportation, you have two options to go from Brussels South station to the event venue:
  • Take metro lines 2 or 6 direction "Elisabeth" and get off at the "Rogier" station. The trip takes approximately 20 min.
  • Take tram line 3 direction "Esplanade" or tram 4 direction "Gare du Nord" and get off at the "Rogier" station. The trip takes approximately 15 min.
