GENERAL INFORMATION

This is the 6th meeting held bi-annually by the Paediatric Diseases Working Party (PDWP), this year arranged in co-operation with the Inborn Errors Working Party (IEWP). The scope of the meeting is to provide the latest insight regarding allogeneic SCT in children and young adults, to an audience of experienced and young medical doctors, PhD students and nurses.

PDWP is chaired by Prof. Peter Bader, Frankfurt, and the program of the meeting has been put together by local chair Marianne Ifversen (PDWP), Prof. Christina Peters (PDWP), Ass. Prof Arjan Lankester (PDWP and IEWP) and Prof. Bader, whereas Lise Hvidt (local nurse organizer) and Eugenia Trigoso (PDWP) are responsible for the nurse’s program.

All speakers are confirmed and the faculty members will stay throughout the meeting. The topics will cover transplant indications, HLA-compatibility, GvHD and immune system in the newly transplanted, with a special focus on individualized cellular therapy, toxicity and supportive care. There will be a focus on modern education and a number of parallel sessions for the nurses' group, a meet-the-expert dinner and a social dinner.

REGISTRATION

The registration fee is 250€ (doctors), 200€ (PhD Students) and 175€ (nurses). This fee includes all sessions, access to the online content, catering during the course, meet-the-expert dinner and a social dinner (to be confirmed).
