Join our UK company delegation at the Smart Maritime Annual Global Innovation Congress (SMAGIC'25)
With a programme designed to spark collaboration between industry, government, academia, and innovators, the SMAGIC’25 Congress provides a strategic platform to shape the future of maritime. The anticipated key themes are:
- FuelEU Maritime and emissions compliance
- Innovation pathways for maritime digital infrastructure
- Port and terminal digitalisation
- Maritime cybersecurity
- Investment and funding for maritime start-ups
- Technology for Maritime Sustainability: Deployment and scaling of solutions supporting
- Decarbonisation, emissions reduction, and climate resilience
More than 350 international attendees are expected to join, including shipowners, ports, regulators, technology providers, investment partners, maritime authorities, government bodies, and maritime start-ups. This year’s programme introduces new sessions to elevate engagement and legacy – from student and start-up access initiatives to Danish maritime site visits.
The Department for Business & Trade (DBT) at the British Embassy Copenhagen is initially seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from UK companies specialising in one or more of the key themes of the conference.
EOIs are encouraged from SMEs who are ‘export ready’ and actively interested in exporting to the Danish and wider Nordic markets.
During the Congress, delegates will have the opportunity to:
- Attend insightful panel discussions and focused workshops
- Take part in multiple networking opportunities
- Get DBT Denmark’s advice on Danish maritime opportunities and key stakeholders
- Be part of a DBT-branded booth to base yourself whilst at the conference
This is a unique opportunity for UK companies in the maritime industry to connect with key stakeholders and learn more about opportunities in the Danish maritime sector, and beyond!
