Higher Education and TNE Mission to Brazil 2024

The British Council, with the support of DBT and Universities UK international, is coordinating a delegation to Brazil. This much-anticipated programme follows the excellent outcomes of inward university visits to the UK over the last 2 years, a visit to the UK by the Brazilian Education Minister Camilo Santa, followed by a reciprocal visit last autumn by former Minister of Education Nick Gibb, and the UK/Brazil Education MOU. The programme aims are to influence bilateral partnerships and agreements, advance ongoing discussions, including outlining next steps for the MOU, and to provide UK HEIs with first-hand knowledge of in-country policies for TNE and internationalisation.

Green Skills Webinars

Higher Education and TNE Mission to Nigeria

Building on the successful DBT Mission to Nigeria in November 2023, this mission will take a group of selected UK universities to Nigeria to develop partnerships and deliver TNE in Nigeria. The TNE guidelines provide a framework for new partnerships, and in the months between now and the mission, DBT will be working with the sector to navigate the regulatory environment and build momentum. This will ensure that delegates are well versed in delivering TNE in Nigeria. We will commence formal promotion for mission delegates in the summer, but in the meantime, you can express your interest in joining to Richard Grubb, Regional Lead for Education in Africa and Europe.

More than 28 million business, government and general public visitors are forecast to attend the 6-month World Expo taking place in Osaka, Japan from April to October 2025.
