The University wants to support any new international Postgraduate Researchers coming to Leeds for the first time to have a welcoming arrival experience. Students can use this form to book airport pick-up from Leeds Bradford Airport or Manchester Airport.

Arrival timings

We can arrange airport-pick up for postgraduate researchers arriving to start programmes in summer 2026. On your chosen arrival date, the first transport of the day will depart from both Leeds Bradford and Manchester airports at 09:00. If you arrive earlier in the day, you can get breakfast at the airport while you wait for your transport. The last transport of the day will depart from both airports at 19:00. Book your flight to arrive at least an hour earlier than 19:00. If you plan to arrive after 18:00 on your chosen arrival date, you will need to make your own way to Leeds.

Please help us by giving us information about your travel plans so we can support your arrival.

Before completing this form please confirm the following:

You are a new international postgraduate researcher who will be arriving in Leeds for the first time
You are aware that airport pick-up is only available at the above timings (please read 'arrival timings' section above).
You have booked your flight to the UK and have your flight number
You are completing this form at least five days before your arrival
You have not already completed this form (Please only complete this form once. If you have already submitted it, there is no need to fill it in again)
You have confirmed your accommodation or made arrangements of where to stay on arrival (If you decide to arrive before your accommodation contract start date, you must contact your accommodation provider in advance to ask if you can arrange early arrival)
