Jason Miner is a senior analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence, a unique research platform that provides context on industries, companies, and government policy, on the Bloomberg Professional Service at BI . Mr. Miner specializes in financial and economic analysis of chemicals producers, and his global coverage includes major producers of basic (e.g. LyondellBasell, Dow, Air Liquide), diversified (BASF, Celanese) and agricultural (Yara, Nutrien) chemicals. He frequently presents at chemicals industry and investor conferences produced by ICIS, Goldman Sachs, IHS-Markit and others.
Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mr. Miner was an equity analyst at Deutsche Bank, where he covered U.S.-listed chemicals producers. He has also worked for New York Consulting Partners and Archstone Consulting leading operations and manufacturing redesign projects.
Mr. Miner is a CFA charter holder. In 2009, Institutional Investor awarded Mr. Miner Honorable Mention in U.S. chemicals and in 2010 the Financial Times/Starmine ranked Mr. Miner the No. 2 stock picker in U.S. chemicals. Mr. Miner earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering, from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and the University of Manchester, U.K. and an MBA from Columbia University.
