TRAVEL INFORMATION
Transfers
Please note that transfers from the airport to the official hotels upon your arrival will be provided by the FIA.
More information and related schedule will be available at a later stage.
Furthermore, please note that Baku has a very efficient public transport network (train, bus) and there are many taxi companies which you can use to get to the venue.
The FIA will be providing a shuttle service between the official hotels, the social event, FIA General Assemblies and Prize Giving venues, more information to be communicated at a later stage.
Visa
It is important to check on the current status of visa requirements. Please make sure to check if you need a Visa to enter Azerbaijan.
Should your country do not appear on the list, the Azerbaijnan Automobile Federation will provide you with an immigration letter which allows you to travel and get a visa upon arrival.
Currency
The Manat (AZN) is the official currency in Azerbaijan. Currency can be exchanged at banks, change and some large hotels, though you will get a better exchange rate at the ATMs. Foreign currency is not accepted.

The welcome desk will open on Tuesday 5th of December at 08:00. It will be set up in the JW Mariott.
Please visit the desk upon arrival. The FIA General Assemblies team will be available to assist you with any queries.

A specific Welcome Desk will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Center Concert Hall from 08:00 on Friday 8th for the FIA General Assemblies.
