Strengthening inter-state links through higher education (HE) partnerships

DIT is delighted to invite expression of interest from UK Universities, HE institutions engaged in TNE and private consultancies that support UK-KZ HE cooperation

Please note that we will evaluate applications and prioritise those who have an interest in KZ market, have been involved in or are planning partnerships with KZ Universities, have ideas and clear vision for TNE projects

The main objective of this event is to facilitate dialogue between UK and KZ Universities, strengthen connections, help parties understand more about each other's interests and create a base for further cooperation.

UK colleagues will have a chance to hear about the latest developments in the HE sector in Kazakhstan and international partnership opportunities open to UK providers. Further updates will focus on Kazakh TNE regulations, strategic priorities and support provided by the government for TNE partnerships. There will be time to ask questions and build connections during the event and the networking lunch.

The delegation will be led by the Minister for Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who will open the event, and attended by representatives from 17 KZ Universities, as well as the Center of International Programmes "Bolashaq". 

We are inviting interested parties to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI) to join the event. In order to allow for in-depth dialogue, representation is limited to one person per institution. Please only submit one EoI for each institution.

Closing date for submission of EoI is 20 January (17.00 UK time). Shortlisted applicants will be contacted the following week with further updates.
