The event European Forum on Risk Governance & Societal Resilience is taking place on 16 and 17 May 2023 in Toulouse, France. The event will take place at Espaces Vanel (1 All. Jacques Chaban-Delmas, 31500 Toulouse, France). See the location on the map.
The objective of the European Forum on Risk Governance & Societal Resilience is to facilitate exchanges among European projects, city’s risk managers, decision-makers, first responders and researchers. In this respect, around ten projects funded by the Horizon Europe “Civil Security for Society” will gather around developments of solutions and tools for an enhanced societal resilience and risk governance, from international to local, and will present results and achievements to an audience principally composed of representatives of municipalities and first responders. Discussions in the form of panels will be centred on sharing experiences of partnerships among cities, first responders and the scientific community around innovating solutions for disaster risk management. It is hoped that these exchanges involving a citizen dimension in research activities will find an echo at a local level, thus favouring the implementation of solutions developed by Horizon Europe projects and possibly contributing to future research orientations.
