Understanding Your Role in Regional Economic Engagement

About the event

This session will look at how Boards can collaborate with Senior Management Teams to help shape the strategic direction of their regional economy and in so doing curate a more conducive operational environment for their college.

For example, by describing the nature and development of their work fostering industrial partnerships, Paul and Ross will demonstrate how the ERG’s pilot college’s have positioned themselves at the forefront of the regional, and therefore the national, economy’s Journey to Net Zero. 

Participants in this session will also learn how strategic stakeholder engagement and the aligned development of operational relationships can combine to help enable colleges to deliver on their strategic commitments to their regions.

Paul and Ross will also discuss examples of where college Board members are able to contribute through their own expertise, whether that’s in asset management, economic development, environmental improvement or a range of other skills.
