Bett UK 2024

24-26 January 2024

Welcome to the Department for Business and Trade at BETT UK 2024.

.

We are excited to be back at the show, and this site, together with our online brochure (which will be available soon), will offer a flavour of what we are offering to walk-in delegates from the UK and overseas, and UK exhibitors, whether you’re on our pavilion, or have a presence elsewhere at BETT.

In March 2023, we were, once again, one of the most visited stands at this amazing global Education Technology expo, and I’m thrilled that we have already helped UK companies, who engaged with DBT’s international network of education officials and overseas delegations, to gain international contract success stemming from the event. The regional edition, BETT Asia, in October, in Thailand, was also a resounding success, in terms of facilitating business-2-business meetings, and sustaining the UK’s education relationship, and national profile, with ministers in the region. We have invited those ministers, and many others who we, together with the UK Government’s International Education Champion Professor Sir Steve Smith, have engaged with from around the world, to join us in London, to continue our discussions, aimed at cementing our partnerships.

Our aim at BETT UK, as in previous years, and working in partnership with BESA, is to add a suite of complementary activities to the wider EdTech expo, staged over three days, from 24 - 26 January 2024. Members of the International Education team will be there to welcome you to the stand, number NC10located in the North Hall, as you enter visitor entrance N8, to offer key advice and assistance to UK providers, whether you are new to the world of export, or considering increasing your international presence. I’m pleased too, that, in addition to our overseas advisors, DBT Education colleagues from around the UK will also be present, including the Northern Powerhouse, who will be leading a selection of companies.

Schools, and, more recently, Further Education Colleges and universities, and national governments find themselves having quickly to bring themselves up-to-speed on EdTech policies and preparedness. Those of you who are overseas stakeholders with an interest in partnering with or investing in the UK’s world-leading education sector, will find here, and on our pavilion, examples of the UK’s innovative, inclusive, and flexible solutions that will make an impact on teaching, learning, assessment, and student wellbeing across all streams of education, including, importantly industry.

Our comprehensive online brochure will be available soon and will offer fuller detail on our presence, but a summary is as follows:

  • The opportunity for UK companies to pre-book or on-the-day 1-2-1s with a selection of our overseas-based colleagues. To book any walk-in 1-2-1 meetings during the event, please visit the reception desks on the stand (NC10).
  • The opportunity to apply to take up a pod on our pavilion, where you will be centre stage in a high profile, impactful zone. Click here for more information
  • Overseas guests can book meetings with the selection of cutting-edge UK EdTech providers on our pavilion.
  • Sponsorship - additional opportunities exist for UK companies to promote their brand and support the UK presence at BETT, by taking a key sponsorship package with the UK Pavilion.  For information on future sponsorship opportunities for Bett UK 2024, and future events such as Bett Asia 2024, Bett UK 2025 and other Education events, please click here.

Elsewhere on the site is a Useful Resources page, which includes, among other things, a link to our report on the EdTech Opportunities in North America, the UK’s international trade agreements, and a link to our wider Education Landing page, which offers a selection of upcoming international engagements that we’re leading on.

This year, there may be a cost for some walk-in delegates, offering EdTech solutions, to enter the wider expo, and I’m pleased to say that DBT have negotiated with BETT UK, a discounted rate for those UK visitors who fall into that category. Please contact DBTeducation@brayleinoevents.com for further information on the offer.

I, and my colleagues from around the world, look forward to seeing you then!
