INFORMATION ABOUT BURSARIES
Given that response to the early bird registration has been amazing, we are pleased to announce that we can now offer a limited number of bursaries to assist individuals attend the meeting and present their work.
The bursaries are intended for attendees from the global South, self-funded students or recent PIs that haven’t been able to secure their own funding yet, although other situations can be also considered.
The bursary will cover registration and accommodation during the conference; the number of bursaries is limited by our available funds, but we will do our best to assist the attendance of as many people as possible.
If you want to be considered for a bursary, please contact the organizers (emails below) along with a 250-word statement explaining why you need the bursary and why attending Bunya-2024 will help with your scientific career, together with a 250-word abstract of what you will be presenting at the conference. We are happy to receive retrospective bursary applications from people already registered with submitted abstracts.
The deadline to submit a bursary application will be 1st of May 2024.
