The International e-HRM has an attached pre-conference workshop for doctoral students on Monday 17th June (the day before the main conference).
The workshop includes sessions on developing a sustainable academic career and making a theoretical contribution through your doctoral research. PhD students who are presenting at the main conference will have the opportunity to present their work in a relaxed, informal environment and get supportive feedback prior to their conference presentations. PhD students who are not presenting at the conference can present papers based on their initial ideas, research design or first findings and get developmental feedback.
The workshop is free for PhD students, but registration is necessary. Attendees do not need to register and attend the main conference, although of course they are very welcome to do so (register here, the PhD student rate is £315 before May 1st and £365 after that).
Attendees who are not presenting at the main conference should submit a short 250 word abstract summarising their research by emailing Andy Charlwood (a.charlwood@leeds.ac.uk) by 13th May.
