2nd international iNotes congress

Geneva, Switzerland - September 27, 2024

Welcome to the 2nd international iNotes congress

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to Geneva, Switzerland, for the Second International iNOTES Congress, taking place on September 27, 2024!

Join us as we immerse ourselves in the vibrant spirit of the NOTES (Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) community, where experts from across the globe will converge to exchange invaluable insights and experiences.

The inaugural iNOTESs congress held in Bonheiden, Belgium, in 2023 marked a pivotal moment in the advancement of the vNOTES (vaginal NOTES) technique within gynecology. In recent years, this momentum has continued to surge, bolstered by mounting scientific evidence demonstrating its safety and efficacy. Notably, vNOTES has transformed benign gynecological surgery by alleviating postoperative discomfort, shortening recovery periods, and reducing complication rates. Its
application has now expanded into urogynecology, pelvic oncology, fertility surgery, and breast surgery, heralding a new era of surgical innovation and patient care.

As the demand for proficiency in the vNOTES technique grows, so too does the emphasis on dedicated training centers, ensuring surgeons are equipped with the requisite skills to deliver optimal outcomes. Moreover, collaborative endeavors with other specialties, such as colorectal surgery, have fostered interdisciplinary dialogue and enriched the landscape of minimally invasive procedures.

Throughout the congress, we encourage you to seize the opportunity to forge meaningful connections and cultivate lasting relationships within the NOTES community. Together, let us cultivate a sense of unity and shared purpose as we continue to advance the frontiers of minimally invasive surgery.

We eagerly anticipate your presence at this momentous event, where knowledge will be shared, innovations lauded, and bonds strengthened.

Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to advancing surgical excellence.

We are looking forward to seeing you Geneva!

Warm regards,

Jean DUBUISSON & Jan BAEKELANDT
