Shane Chowen | Editor at FE Week
We are delighted that Shane Chowen will be supporting this year’s Autumn Conference as Chair.
Shane has dedicated his career to further education after a ‘gap-year’ in student politics saw him change his career plans entirely. After getting involved in policy and campaigning work in the sector, Shane was elected National Union of Students’ Vice President (Further Education) for two one-year terms.
Since then, he has held several policy and campaigning roles across the sector, including as head of public affairs at Learning at Work Institute and an area director at the Association of Colleges.
He became editor at FE Week in August 2021.
