This online webinar explores issues arising in the restructuring of airlines in Asia. Our experts will share their experiences on the restructuring of three Asian airlines: (1) Thai Airways, (2) NOK Air, and (3) Hong Kong Airlines, and the restructuring of LATAM Airlines, based in Chile. This diversity of restructuring cases will enable participants to take a comparative view towards airline restructuring which, in some jurisdictions, might be influenced by domestic policy considerations.
Our experts will discuss the various challenges which may arise during an airline restructuring and the available tools in their jurisdiction to meet such challenges. Specifically, this panel will address topics such as the international dynamics of an airline restructuring, securing financing opportunities in a restructuring plan, and strategies for gathering creditor support.
