Our city boasts over 400 kilometers of dedicated bike lanes, ensuring you can explore every corner safely and comfortably. Did you know that in Copenhagen, even our trash cans are bike-friendly! That’s right, many are tilted towards cyclists so you can toss your trash on the go without slowing down. It’s just one of the ways we make cycling as effortless as possible.

But there’s more! You’ll find air pumps scattered around the city, traffic lights timed to favor cyclists, and the soothing summer air and light enhancing your ride.  Gear up for a truly Danish experience on two wheels—we can’t wait to see you mastering the art of cycling in Copenhagen!

Did you know that Danes are some of the happiest people on Earth, and it's all thanks to 'HYGGE'? It's not just the sleek design or the pickled herring that keeps us smiling, but our love for all things cozy and the sense of togetherness.

Hygge (pronounced like "HOO-guh" or "HUE-guh) is the art of finding joy in the little things. In winter, we're all about cuddling up with warm drinks and candlelight. Summer also brings refreshing bike rides, picnics with strawberries, cinnamon pastries, and barbecuing in endless daylight, all enjoyed with people you care about.
