About the Conference

Network Futures 2025 will recognise the impact of all our work to support carers. With carer organisations facing an increasingly challenging environment, it’s a vital time to come together to forge a path forward. The conference theme is “A meeting of the movement that cares”, reflecting the collective passion and dedication of the Carers Trust network. Join inspiring colleagues and guest speakers to exchange practical ideas, share experiences  and debate the future need and shape of services for the carers you support.

Our conference is a chance to showcase the incredible work of local carer organisations across the UK while looking at how we collectively address and respond to the challenges local service providers are facing . Let’s come together to celebrate our impact, make our work even stronger and help transform the lives of unpaid carers together.

The conference is split across two days. Day one will tackle our movement’s purpose, examining our impact, sharing learning and looking at how we collectively tackle, respond to and advocate for the changes needed to support carer organisations in these challenging times. The second day will look at the service models, organisational developments and practical learnings across all areas of local carer organisations to respond to an unprecedentedly difficult financial climate.

Join us at the Network Futures conference to:

-Engage in interactive plenaries tackling current and future trends in access and support.

-Hear dynamic speakers share fresh perspectives from the network and beyond.

-Exchange ideas and best practices in breakout sessions from network leaders.

-Get hands-on in workshops covering all aspects of unpaid carer support.

-Celebrate successes, tackle challenges, and reconnect face-to-face with colleagues.

Stay tuned for full details of the workshops and speakers to be released in early 2025. And watch out for your chance do a presentation on your own organisation’s learning and good practice at the conference.
