Open Call for Sponsorship: UK-Ukraine TechBridge Programmatic Calendar 25-26

His Majesty's Government (HMG) departments, The Department for Business and Trade (DBT), in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and Ukraine’s Ministry for Digital Transformation (MDT), invites forward-thinking companies to sponsor the UK-Ukraine TechBridge for 2025/26.

Ukraine is home to one of the most dynamic, innovative, and fastest-growing tech ecosystems in the world. Despite the challenges posed by the full-scale invasion, its tech sector has shown remarkable resilience and ingenuity. The UK-Ukraine TechBridge is poised to harness this momentum, fostering mutual growth through innovation partnerships, investment opportunities, and skills development, while contributing to Ukraine’s recovery and economic resilience.

Background

Announced by the former Prime Minister at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London in 2023 and launched in January 2024, TechBridge represents a strategic partnership between HMG and MDT. It aims to unlock opportunities in trade, innovation, and investment, bridging two vibrant economies to drive transformative growth.

TechBridge is guided by an Industry Steering Board, comprising leaders from global companies such as Oracle, Amazon Web Services, and techUK, that provides strategic oversight and guidance. In terms of political input, TechBridge is co-chaired by the UK’s Minister for Services, Small Businesses and Exports, Gareth Thomas MP, and Ukraine’s Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation, Oleksandr Bornyakov.

Following successful funding from the UK’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) in 2023 and 2024, TechBridge is now entering a critical phase of private-sector engagement. Sponsorship presents an unparalleled opportunity for businesses to align with both British and Ukrainian government ambitions, while driving their own growth objectives.

As a sponsor, you will directly support TechBridge’s efforts to rebuild Ukraine’s economy and enhance UK-Ukraine trade relations. • TechBridge Start-Up Competition: Empowering Ukrainian-linked tech start-ups to compete and connect with UK business networks.
• Webinars: Key insights into doing business in the UK and Ukraine, such as entry into the UK public sector supply chain.
• Investment Accelerator: Building on the success of the 2024 pilot which saw ten of twenty participants secure investment or business engagement contracts, this initiative culminates in an HMG/MDT-led pitching event at London Tech Week.
