Joint Mining Mission to Mongolia, Kazakhstan & Kyrgyzstan

Mining Week and the launch of the International Quarrying and Mining Exhibition, MinePro 2025, in Ulaanbaatar from September 11-13, 2025. This event will bring together industry experts to discuss sustainable mining and the transition to green energy, featuring +350 exhibitors, panel discussions, and a lifelike work-site demonstration area.

Highlights of MinePro 2025:

• Spanning 120,000 square meters and 6,400 square meters indoor hall
• Focus on “Driving Progress and Responsibility” for sustainable mining
• 20,000+ industry attendees to recognize your company
• Opportunities to network and sign with sector leaders like Rio Tinto, Oyu Tolgoi, UKEF
• Thematic days covering procurement, financing, and consulting
• Experience the “Miners’ Naadam Festival” and witness the “Three Manly Games” a cultural heritage on the third day of the event!

The UK Department for Business and Trade will have a GREAT-branded stand at the exhibition site as UK Pavillion. The booth rent, costs of participation, entrance and design of the DBT stand will be shared between companies and DBT.

Each UK company will have 3x3 size booths and the company’s logo will appear on the exhibition of the stand.

Programme draft as follows:

• September 8 - Arrival in UB
• September 9 - Initial visit to Erdenet Mining Corporation in Erdenet City, Mongolia
• September 10- Prep for MinePro day, site visit (TBC)
• September 11 - MinePro Day 1
• September 12 – MinePro Day 2
• September 13– MinePro Day 3 and Miners’ Naadam Festival
• September 14– Depart to Almaty
