Trade Mission to Cenex Expo 2025

The UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) invites you to join us for a four-day programme of activities, including attending the internationally renowned CENEX Expo 2025.

DBT is collaborating with Cenex, industry, and government partners to bring an international audience to engage with the UK automotive technology supply chain at this event and to facilitate one-to-one meetings. We would be delighted if your organisation joined our tailored international programme.

Your time in the UK will begin with a two-day bespoke visit programme highlighting capability and and strengths of the UK automotive industry, before concluding with two days at CENEX Expo 2025, the leading event in the UK automotive innovation community.

The DBT International Programme 

The programme will start with arrival at a local hotel followed by four days of interaction across the UK automotive industry.

Sunday 31st August: Arrive at the hotel

Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd September: Comprehensive UK automotive briefing and a two-day site visit programme where we will visit UK automotive technology development companies and centres of automotive excellence with an emphasis on future mobility sub-sectors including:

• The EV battery supply chain 

• Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) 

• Hydrogen for mobility

• Lightweighting 

• Measurement and testing 

• EV powertrain including motors and inverters 

• AI and software 

• Human-machine interface

There will also be a networking reception and dinner.

Wednesday 3rd September and Thursday 4th September: Attend CENEX Expo and meet key industry contacts and potential suppliers. DBT will arrange one-to-one meetings in a dedicated space at Cenex all day on Thursday 4th September.

About the CENEX Expo 

Building on the legacy of CENEX-LCV and CENEX-CAM, CENEX Expo sets an agenda where zero emission vehicle and connected automated mobility innovations combine to shape the future of mobility. 

As well as the technology exhibition, the expo offers an extensive seminar programme with a range of speakers from government and industry, together with a wide-ranging showcase of innovative R&D from our leading automotive technology companies and universities. The event will take place on 3rd and 4th September 2025 at Millbrook Proving Grounds in Bedford, UK.

DBT will cover all in-country programme transportation costs, starting from Monday 9am, and a networking dinner. Delegates are therefore expected to cover international travel, airport transfers, hotel accommodation and any incidental costs.
