What to expect from the event

The STE(A)M ATLAS is proud to invite you to a unique education and policy event to chart together a course towards a STE(A)M future for European Education.

The need for innovative, inclusive, and future-proof education is growing stronger across Europe. With a shortage of STEM students, a persistent gender imbalance, and an ever-growing STEM skills gap, the need for innovative, inclusive, and future-proof education is growing stronger across Europe.

That’s where STE(A)M education comes into play. Far from being a single blueprint method, STE(A)M is used to indicate more holistic educational approaches that go beyond the individual STEM disciplines towards more integrated and meaningful learning experiences.

For STE(A)M educational approaches to deliver on their promises, coordinated action at every level are needed: macro (policy and context), meso (institutions and stakeholders), and micro (classrooms and learners). All three complementary approaches were at the heart of three EU-funded projects—The SEER, Road-STEAMer, and SENSE—collectively forming the Atlas to STE(A)M Education in Europe.

Join us for the event in Brussels in the European Commission Covent Garden building on 2 July 2025 from 09:00 to 16:00 CEST.
